THE MENTAL REVOLUTION BY LOCAL STORY BASED ON
CHARACTERIZED EDUCATION AND IT FOR SUPPORTING CREATIVE INDUSTRY

Abstract: Creative industry is the industry which main element is creativity,
expert and talent. It has potency to improve the welfare throw offering
intellectual creation, one of them is story. The research is aimed at first year as follows: describe
the values of character education
tales contained in local and non-fictional
character of Indonesian children,
theoretical models-based development
of local creative story tale character education, and a prototype-based local tales of creative writing education character. The purpose of this study is described in the research design development
model of Borg & Gall that lasted for two years budget. Based on the result of data
analysis, it can be concluded that (1) prototype is resulted in the form of the
story “Si Panji” which has a positive character of the deers local story
and which are
combined characters Indonesian which has nationalist and
patriotic spirit. The story is full of characterized
education value, but it is wrapped with humour, imagination, and adventure of
kids aged 9-12 years, (2) prototype is resulted in the form of the comic “Si Panji”. The
